Prescription Drug-An Epidemic Worldwide

Prescription drugs is one of the major concerns for singer Micheal Jackson.

Many myths are there stating that drugs found on the streets are a much bigger problem than prescription drug addiction. But the reality is something different. In reality many people are getting abused to drugs which are found in their home.

The most commonly used prescription drugs are opioids which are used to treat anxiety, panic attacks, depression, insomnia, and stress.

This prescription drug problem often starts in hospitals. There was a case where in a young person developed the addiction of drugs after he meet with an accident. To cure his accident injury, several surgeries were done to remove crushed discs and make his spine, work which made him to stay back for around 8 months in hospital wherein he became dependent on morphine.

It took him around years to detect that he had been addicted to prescription drug addiction. Now after many years he is recovering from his addiction living on disability assistance making him separate from his kids.
