According to the recent report the percentage of 10th Graders who use any unauthorized drug has declined considerably.
The lifetime drug usage has decreased from 18.2 to 15.9 percent which is a remarkable number. Also smoking has been reduced to a very less amount
But the most amazing point is that the usage of illegal drugs is decreasing on one hand but on the other hand the usage of prescription is rising. The Medical survey revealed that 15% of high school graders use a prescription drug for non-medical purposes.
The usage of substance abuse among teens plays a significant role on their parents. Say around 63% of young people consume alcohol or other drugs because they have seen their parents consuming the same.
