Cocaine is a drug which is the most common used one. Many users of cocaine fall into addiction with its long term threatening effects. Cocaine when injected leads to results into instant effects. The rapid absorption of this drug through nose would result in fast action. Through whichever method cocaine is injected it would enter the bloodstream and ultimately travel to brain. In the brain this drug interferes with neurotransmitters making you forgot your depression and tension. On consumption of cocaine one gets the feeling of a energy and alertness, elevated mood, and a feeling of supremacy.

The immediate effects of cocaine wear off in 30 minutes.
Along with this there are various physiological effects which are associated with cocaine.

On usage of this drug it harms brain, heart, blood vessels and lungs which would lead to sudden death. The effects of cocaine which affects the body are as follows:

Heart: Cocaine increases the heart rate and blood pressure which would constrict the arteries supplying blood to heart resulting in a heart attack even if a person is young.

Brain: Cocaine can constrict the blood vessels which would be responsible for causing strokes. It can happen to even young ones which could lead to seizures and violent behavior.
Lungs and respiratory problems: Inhaling cocaine can lead to damage of nose and sinuses. Regular usage can cause nasal perforation leading to permanent damage in the lungs.

Kidneys: Consumption of cocaine can lead to a sudden kidney failure through a process determined which is called as rhabdomylosis.
Cocaine affects the deep areas of brain which are responsible for activities which lead to food and healthy pressure. So one cannot say which the optimum amount for consumption of cocaine is as you never know when a person becomes physically dependent on that drug.

On using cocaine for an extended period one develops its dependence. When dependence of such a powerful drug is there it is very difficult to withdraw from it.
